Refund & Cancellations

Changed your mind? Not a probelem! If you decide that you need to cancel the tour we will gladly refund you the money back "No Questions Asked."

  • Make sure you cancel in advance to avoid the potential fees.
  • Each tour on our site will clearly state the cancellation policy. Travelers may review any penalties by viewing their tour details page.
  • A reservation is officially canceled when the traveler clicks the cancellation button on the tour page, which they can find in My Account / My Bookings
  • If there is a complaint from either party, notice must be given to Tourhop within 24 hours of tour start.
  • Tourhop will mediate when necessary, and has the final say in all disputes.
  • Sometimes extenuating circumstances arise that affect travel plans. In extreme cases, Tourhop may override the cancellation policies and make refund decisions. Such cases will be contingent on proper documentation, where valid, and include:
    • Death in the guest's family
    • Serious illness of the guest or a guest's family member
    • Natural disaster in the destination country
    • Political unrest in the destination country
  • These are the default Tourhop policies that we will enforce to protect both guest and host alike in case if no return policies are specified by the tour operator.
    • If you cancel at least 30 calendar days in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee.
    • If you cancel between 16 and 29 calendar days in advance of the scheduled departure, you will be charged a 20% cancellation fee.
    • If you cancel between 3 and 15 calendar days in advance of the scheduled departure, you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.
    • If you cancel within 2 calendar days of the scheduled departure, no refund will be issued.
